Directions

The symposium will be held in the Denton A. Cooley Auditorium which is part of the Robert J. Hall Conference Center, located in the Denton A. Cooley Building at 6770 Bertner Avenue, near the intersection of Fannin Street and Holcombe Boulevard adjacent to St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Note however that the Bernter entrance is currently closed due to construction. Therefore attendees must enter from the Bates entrance, to the left of the star above, beetween Bertner and Fannin. FROM BUSH INTERCONTINENTAL AIRPORT (IAH)
Driving: Take Highway 59 South, exit Highway 288 South, exit Holcombe Boulevard and turn right. Turn right onto Bertner Avenue.
Shuttle: Go to Ground Transportation. Take the Houston Professional Airport Shuttle to the Denton A. Cooley Building. Fare is $23 one-way and $46 round trip. You must make a reservation within 24 hours of when you need to be picked up. For more shuttle operators visit shuttle options.
Taxi: Go to Ground Transportation. Taxi fare to the Denton A. Cooley Building is approximately $51.00 (plus tip) and takes approximately 40 minutes.
Public Transportation: Go to Terminal C, then to Ground Transportation. Take the METRO Bush Intercontinental Airport Express (Route 102). Fare is $1.50. Ask for free transfer ticket. Exit downtown at Milam and Preston. Turn left on Preston and walk two blocks to Main Street. Take METROrail south (show conductor your transfer ticket if asked) and proceed to the TMC-Dryden stop. The Denton A. Cooley Building is a short walk.

FROM HOUSTON HOBBY AIRPORT (HOU)
Driving: Take I-45 North to Loop 610 West, merge onto 288 North. Exit Yellowstone Boulevard and turn left on Holcombe Boulevard. Turn right onto Bertner Avenue.

Public Transportation: Go to Baggage Claim, and then outside to Curbzone 13. Take the METRO Airport Express (Route 101 or 102). Fare is $1.50. Ask for free transfer ticket. Exit downtown at Milam and Preston. Turn right on Preston and walk three blocks to Main Street. Take METROrail south (show conductor your transfer ticket if asked) and proceed to the TMC-Dryden stop. The Denton A. Cooley Building is a short walk.
